There's a tiger in my house....
.....and her name is Rowena.
Rowena is such a vicious girl. She loves to bite, scratch, claw and pinch and it is really really painful. Yesterday, she bit the skin at my jaw and it is still sore till today. If she does not get what she wants, she bites and then looks very pleased with herself. I have no choice but to scream at her and she gives me her sweet angelic face, saying, 'Mummy, ay, ay'. She tends to bite Harvynna too and it is really painful for her.
What do I do with this tiger?

muahahah..she is cute. I have a tiger at home too, and she even screams ;D
awwww .. bet you're feeling confused about what to do! my sister's youngest is a tiger too and we don't know what to do also! he's managed to teach gibran how to claw at people :( i'm lost about what to do too! so far i've been trying to say "No!" in a stern tone. sometimes it works, sometimes it TOTALLY fails. urgh.
tame ur cute little tiger by giving in??
Gosh, luckily you're not breastfeeding her, otherwise something else would be aching...
Hah! I have a tiger/lion/cheetah/cat at home too. And most times, 'No' doesn't seem to work on him. How ah? It's really painful when he slaps/pinches/claws us. :(
If using the soft way of disciplining doesn't help, how about gently hitting her on her hand when she bites again? My 2 gals seem to be more disciplined with the harsher way of disciplining :(
haha....so funny...so Harvynna cannot bully lil tiger oredi :p
Bite or nibble her back! But softly-lah!!! She might get the message that it hurts---wink**
poor jiejie...kena bite from meimei...aiyo...
aiyoh load so long i nearly forgot what i wanna say ..
Ok i remember.
U can bite her back and ask her if its nice. Cruel abit (but dunbite so hard la) and make her cry a lil. And she will be scared and wont bite ppl edi. I tried it with my cousin and it worked.
oh, in that case, i have a tiger too.
haha..hopefully this is just a phase..ya, they looked pleased and satisfied after biting. sighh...
Hi Hmom--I'm going to agree with HFM only not hitting on the hand because they can imitate that. A gentle flick with the fingers to the lips, to get her attention (she will cry) after she stops crying say firmly but clamly, "Mommy doesn't do that, Daddy doesn't do that and Harvyanna doesn't do that."
Then hug her and bring her over to play with something.
That's the boundary and she shouldn't go past it (wink).
ouch....i so scared of rowena now!!!
